The universe and everything it holds is God's. Yet, we often mistake ourselves as the owners, forgetting that we are merely stewards of His creation. This realization is a cornerstone of our faith because it shifts our perspective from self-centeredness to God-centeredness. As we navigate through our daily lives, remembering that everything we have is a gift from God helps us live with gratitude, humility, and purpose.Three thoughts to consider:1. Do you see your belongings as God's gifts or your own earnings? Ponder on this, replacing any entitlement with gratitude to cultivate generosity.2. Are you using God's gifts wisely? Will you take time to examine whether you're squandering God's blessings or utilizing them for His glory.3. Who in your life has been entrusted to you by God? Consider this and deepen your understanding of your relationships as sacred responsibilities.I hope that today, you will embrace the truth of God's ownership, and you will find freedom in surrendering control, knowing that He is the perfect provider.Let's pray: Lord, guide me to wisely use Your gifts and see loved ones as Your plan. Liberate me from performance pressures, filling me with joy in serving You.Discover more positive impacts from living as a steward in the Living on the Edge blog post, '5 Core Values to Leave a Legacy That Lasts Forever': https://lnkd.in/gsZeK4KK

God loves us, but He cannot ignore our disobedience. In the face of God's miracles—parting the Red Sea, providing manna—some still chose their way over His.It's like appreciating Jesus' sacrifice on the cross but insisting on ruling our own lives. This is the essence of sin—dethroning God to sit upon the throne of our life. When we choose our goals and dreams over His plans, we're led by pride. And God opposes the proud.Reflect today on these questions:1. Who sits on the throne of your life? Are you allowing God to guide your path, or are you choosing your own way?2. Have there been times when you've put your desires before God's plan? How did that affect your life?3. Can you identify areas in your life where pride might be taking precedence over humility? How can you consciously make an effort to allow God to take control of your life today?Deepen your connection with God using the Chip Ingram app. Get daily inspiration from radio programs, message notes, and the Living on the Edge blog. https://lnkd.in/e5ksPmQe

Your Worth in the Workplace: Embracing God's Plan.As a young person navigating the world of work, it's essential not to let your boss's opinion define your worth. God has a bigger plan for your life, and your value goes beyond what others may see.In 1 Timothy 4:12, the Bible encourages us: "Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity."Remember, you have the power to demonstrate your abilities and character through your actions. Show kindness, integrity, and dedication in your work, regardless of others' opinions.Sometimes, it might feel discouraging if your boss doesn't recognize your efforts, but God sees your heart and knows your potential. Trust in His plan for your life and continue to work diligently, knowing that He has a purpose for every step you take.Jesus faced challenges and criticisms during His earthly ministry, yet He remained steadfast in fulfilling God's plan. He came to save the world and offer eternal salvation to those who believe in Him.So, remember, your worth doesn't come from your boss's approval, but from God's love and purpose for you. As you walk with integrity and faith, you will find fulfillment in knowing that Jesus is still the one and only Savior of the world, offering hope and eternal significance to your life. Keep pressing forward, and God will lead you to greater heights!

Good morning, Let's start this day with the assurance that our plans, hopes, and dreams are tenderly held in God's wise hands. In our human nature, we crave control. We devise plans, set goals, and plot our course, seeking to shape our future with our hands. But Proverbs 16:9 offers a gentle reminder that while we have the freedom to make plans, it's God who directs our steps. This verse isn't about abandoning our dreams or goals; rather, it's a call to align our intentions with God's will. It's about recognizing that our knowledge is limited, our view is partial, but God sees the bigger picture. He knows the best path for us and leads us there, often in ways we didn't foresee. As you go about your day, allow this verse to sink into your heart. Make your plans, set your goals, but do so with a spirit of surrender, inviting God into your planning. Trust in His guidance, for He sees the whole journey and promises to lead you where you need to be. Ask Yourself: How can I more actively seek God’s guidance in my planning? Are there areas in my life where I need to trust God more with the outcomes? Have a blessed day.
