I LOVE using game boards with seasonal and holiday graphics. But they never seem to align to with what I'm teaching! This HUGE set of phonics games lets YOU CHOOSE your fall seasonal or holiday background for each phonics skill.
What games are included?
- 31 Bump! games (the main focus with seasonal boards: Hedgehogs, Owls, Sunflowers, Yom Kippur/Rosh Hashana, Halloween, Thanksgiving)
- 31 Bump! games with numbers on the spaces (to use a time-saving spinner or set of numbered game cards)
- Memory (uses the game cards from Bump)
- Go Fish (uses the game cards from Bump)
- Silly Snake (version of Old Maid-uses the game cards from Bump)
Just print, cut, demonstrate, and play! These games are great for independent student work times and centers. Plus, it's so easy to differentiate!
Bump? What's Bump?
Bump is my all-time favorite game for primary grades. There are 14 spots on the game board, each with a different letter or word. The game cards match the spots. Students draw a card, read it, and put down their game piece. If you land on the same spot twice, you can leave two game pieces and that spot is SAFE. If you land on someone else's spot, and they only have one game piece on it, you can BUMP them off the board. It's a fun game that's easy to learn!

Phonics Skills Covered:
- Set 1: Letters & Sounds, CVC, -s, CCVC, CVCC

- Set 3: Spelling patterns at the end of words, simple open/closed syllables, -y, r-controlled vowels, vowel teams, diphthongs, silent letters
- Set 4: Suffixes, prefixes, low-frequency spellings
The skills are presented in a sequential order and build on previously learned skills.
