Which L-Bracket form my R7?
I've finally got round to converting my tripods and monopods to Arca Swiss.
I'm now looking at getting an L-Bracket.
As I don't know how much I will use it I don't want to spend a lot of money.
I've seen reasonable reports on
a) Haoge HG-R7
b) Sunwayfoto PCL-R7
Anybody used either? Any comments?
Thanks

I have this from Peak Design and it works great (although it is only horizontal - it doesn't wrap around to do portrait mode on the tripod). Bonus is that it has the small handstrap.

The Sunwayfoto PCL-R7 is beautifully made and fits my R7 perfectly. All such L-plates have some degree of restriction when folding out the LCD - this is unavoidable - just be careful and you can use it for high level or low level shooting. It doesn’t interfere with access to ports or battery.
If you often shoot on a tripod an L-bracket is very useful indeed for swapping between horizontal and vertical. If you never use a tripod (or monopod) you don’t need one. I have one on my R5, which stays on it permanently as I regularly use it on a tripod. My R7 less so, but the L-plate stays in the camera bag until I need it.
An L-plate also protects the base of your camera.

I have a brand called " SmallRig" on my R5. It lives on my camera, lightweight and even has a tool built in to tighten the bracket past finger tightening. Can't say they have a model for your camera but might be worth looking into. It was very affordable.

They don't have one for R7 and they stopped making L-brackets. What they have for R7 is a camera cage.

Quite expensive as L brackets go but these seem quite good
I don’t have one but saw one recently and it fits well, has some nice features and doesn’t interfere too badly with the flip out screen compared to some other brackets out there

My arthritic finger joints like these cages very much since they offer quite a number of additional grips, e.g. when taking out the camera from the bag and putting it back.
