Genshin Impact: Sigewinne Ascension & Talent Materials (2024)

Gathering all the proper materials for Sigewinne’s Ascension in Genshin Impact is the first step to unlocking her complete potential as a dedicated healer in team comps. The head nurse from the Fortress of Meropide is finally making her debut as a playable character following her introduction as an NPC during the Fontaine arc in the main story. Along with the 5-star Clorinde and the 4-star Sethos, Sigewinne is one of the new characters in Genshin Impact 4.7. Contrary to the two Electro main DPS units that accompany her, however, Sigewinne plays another role in team compositions.

Sigewinne is a 5-star Hydro bow user, who specializes in healing allies. Her main ability is throwing a bubble onto the field that bounces, dealing damage to enemies it hits and gradually healing allies. Additionally, Sigewinne also uses the Bond of Life mechanic. This debuff can be gathered from Sourcewater Droplets she creates with her Skill, and clearing it recharges Energy for her damage-dealing Burst. Bond of Life also helps her healing via one of her Passive Talents. Before making good use of Sigewinne’s abilities in Genshin Impact, however, you must farm the right materials for her Ascension and Talents.

Materials To Farm For Sigewinne’s Ascension In Genshin Impact

Items Used By The Healer Have Been Available In The Game For A While

While you may still be required to farm intensively, the good news about the Fontainian character is that all the materials she uses have been available in the game for quite some time. If you have explored Fontaine and have run some of its activities, you may have a stock of some of the items. If you haven’t, the items are still easily acquirable, even if it may take a while due to some limitations, like the availability of daily Resin in Genshin Impact. Most of the farming for Sigewinne materials will occur in Fontaine.

The table below lists all the materials needed for Sigewinne’s complete Ascension, divided per level threshold, and compiled at the end:

The first set of items you will need to farm for Sigewinne are the Varunada Lazurite stones, which are pertinent to Hydro characters in the game. These blue-colored stones tend to drop from bosses with some sort of Hydro-alignment, like the Hydro Hypostasis, Ocenaid, and even Childe. However, the best way to farm Varunada Lazurite stones for Sigewinne is by defeating the Hydro Tulpa world boss in Genshin Impact. This is because, by doing so, you optimize your farming efforts; the Hydro Tulpa boss drops another material needed in Sigewinne’s Ascension process.

By defeating the Hydro Tulpa, you also drop the item called Water That Failed To Transcend. A fair sum of this is needed and, given that you also need Varunada Lazurite stones, you can get two materials from one source, sparing time and Resin simply by focusing on a single target in Genshin Impact.

In addition to these two sets of materials that can be claimed from the same opponent, you will also need to farm a family of Fontaine-exclusive enemy items. Transoceanic Pearl, Transoceanic Stone, and Xenochromatic Crystal are needed abundantly for both Sigewinne’s Ascension and Talent-leveling processes. These items drop exclusively from Fontemer Aberration opponents scattered all across Fontaine – for reference, these are the animal-like enemies.

It is worth remembering to use the Alchemy Table to transform items of the same family into higher-grade materials. Three copies of Transoceanic Pearls can be enhanced into a copy of Transoceanic Chunk, for instance. The same can be said about the Varunada Laruzite stones of varying qualities and the Talent books that Sigewinne will consume when leveling her abilities in Genshin Impact.

The final material you will need to farm for Sigewinne’s Ascension is a Local Specialty called Romaritime Flower. This item can only be found in Fontaine and is scattered across the region. There are 120 Romaritime Flower nodes to be farmed and, considering they only respawn every 48 real-life hours, you may have to run routes at least twice.

To optimize your farming efforts for Romaritime Flower, you should use the official Interactive Map on HoYoLAB to ensure you grab as many as possible in each run.

Of course, in addition to the materials, per si, you will also need a sum of Mora to unlock all the Ascension thresholds, plus an additional amount when using Character EXP Materials to level up Sigewinne. If you are ever in need of extra Mora in Genshin Impact, be sure to run Blossoms of Wealth. If you are doing this, try to do it in Fontaine, as there will be a chance you will face Fontemer Aberrants and, therefore, farm Ascension and Talent materials for Sigewinne.

Leveling Abilities Can Be An Expensive Process

Genshin Impact: Sigewinne Ascension & Talent Materials (3)

While Ascension is a vital part of leveling up a character, it is only the first step. After doing so, you will be required to continue farming so that you can individually level up Sigewinne’s Talents, the official name for her abilities. This will allow her to operate more effectively as a healer and even deal more damage when using her Burst, for instance. As was previously mentioned, Sigewinne’s Talents also use Transoceanic Pearl, Transoceanic Chunk, and Xenochromatic Crystal, so be sure to defeat Fontemer Aberrants whenever possible.

The table below lists all the materials you will need to fully level all three of Sigewinne’s active Talents in Genshin Impact:

Sigewinne Talent Materials In Genshin Impact

Teachings of Equity

  • 9x

Guide to Equity

  • 63x

Philosophies of Equity

  • 114x

Transoceanic Pearl

  • 18x

Transoceanic Chunk

  • 66x

Xenochromatic Crystal

  • 93x

Lightless Eye of the Maelstrom

  • 18x

Crown of Insight

  • 3x

Mora

  • 4,957,500x

The Talent books that Sigewinne uses when leveling her abilities are those of Equity. Teachings of Equity, Guide to Equity, and Philosophies of Equity can all be farmed from the Pale Forgotten Glory Domain in Fontaine. However, Equity books can only be farmed on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. A large sum is needed, so you’ll likely challenge the Domain multiple times and have to spread out your farming plans carefully.

The weekly boss material used by Sigewinne is Lightless Eye of the Maelstrom. This item drops exclusively from beating the All-Devouring Narwhal boss in Genshin Impact. Only 18 copies are needed, but given weekly limitations on this type of boss encounter, it may take you a long while to gather everything that is needed.

Remember that you may convert other Narwhal boss materials, like Lightless Silk String and Lightless Mass into the Lightless Eye of the Maelstrom by using Dream Solvent at the Alchemy Table.

To top off the abilities, you will also need Crown of Insight. This rare material is obtainable through limited-time events and reputation systems, though only three of them are required. Leveling Sigewinne’s Talents is very expensive and you will need nearly 5 million Mora to do so. As a healer, however, you only really need to level up two of Sigewinne’s abilities, which could make the process a lot cheaper in Genshin Impact.
